1. About the Service
Ate This Daily (the "Service") is an AI-assisted dietary logging tool developed and operated by an individual developer. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos you upload and provides estimates of calorie and macronutrient content to help you track your daily dietary goals.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your account with others. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service; upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others; use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written authorization; or attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the source code of the Service.
5. AI Analysis Disclaimer
The AI analysis results provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice or diagnosis. Calorie and nutrient estimates may contain errors and should not be used as the sole basis for any health-related decision. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified medical or nutrition professional.
6. Subscriptions and Paid Features
The Service offers a free tier as well as optional paid subscription plans (Plus and Unlimited) that unlock additional features and a higher daily AI-analysis quota. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at the price shown at the time of purchase, are subject to those platforms' own terms, and can be cancelled at any time through the platform's subscription management. Any changes to subscription pricing or included features will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via in-app notice or email, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect.
7. Email Communications
By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you at the email address you provide, including service-related notices (such as account changes, policy updates, or security alerts) as well as product updates, feature announcements, and promotional content. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out of promotional emails at any time; this does not apply to notices required for account security or the Service's normal operation, which will continue to be sent.
8. Service Changes and Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting your account. Upon account deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and all related content (including but not limited to code, design, and trademarks) are owned by the developer. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as photos) but grant the Service a limited license to use such content to the extent necessary to provide the Service's features.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
